I am a Navy veteran and former classroom teacher, turned artist. Since 2018, I have wholeheartedly chosen to follow my passion in art and photography, and I am currently pursuing an MFA in Studio Art at University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee.
Roughly eight years ago I discovered my calling while backpacking through Nepal and India. There, I documented my six-month journey and acculturation through the art of photography; to this day, this experience continues to shape my perspective as I continue to utilize the photographic medium to connect with others and understand the world around me.
